- JULIENAS CHATEAU DE LA BOTTIERE – 84 “Lovely cherry-fruited nose and quite a dense palate as well. Shows brisk acidity with a refined and focused style. A bit four-square but balanced”

There is nothing more romantic than a wine which features the word love, albeit in French, on the label. This is a stunning, silky-smooth, strawberry-themed wine with a delicious, lip-smacking finish and never-ending food-matching skills. Drink it will anything you fancy and it will reward.
, for Valentines day. - In "The Spectator
Beaujolais is storming back into popularity, in spite of and not because of the pretty awful Beaujolais Nouveau. This Fleurie La Cadole 2011 (5) is from one of the two or three top wine villages in the region, and it could not be more different from the raw Nouveau people unaccountably glug in autumn. It has real grace and style, and while it is made from the Gamay grape, it could easily be a first-rate Burgundy, at a very modest £12.45, almost a £26 case discount. If you liked good Beaujolais and wanted to return, this is the wine to guide you back.
, Simmon Hoggart, an English journalist shows his appreciation of our Fleurie: "It has real grace and style, and while it is made from the Gamay grape, it could easily be a first-rate Burgundy". - Wine Spectator awarded our Julienas Domaine des Mouilles 2010 a note of 84.
